I have had the privilege of growing up in several diverse sociocultural environments, which have informed my core values of diversity, equity, and fairness. These values extend to my professional life and frame my relationship with research, leadership/mentorship, and clinical training. I view it as my moral obligation to ensure that resources and opportunities afforded by these lines of work (i.e., research, leadership/mentorship, and clinical training) are equally accessible to all facets of society.
